How do I organise photos into sections?
Make, name, fold and reorder sections. In the gallery, they become its chapters.
Make a section
On the Photos tab, press New section, type the Section name and press Create.
Move photos into it: drag them onto its title, or use Move to section in a photo's ⋯ menu, or in the bar that appears when photos are selected.
Change a section
Each section's ⋯ menu has:
- Rename…, and Text under the title… for a line or two shown under the chapter's title in the gallery (Remove the text takes it away).
- Sort, by name or by date taken, either way.
- Select all, to move, hide or delete its photos together.
- Turn downloads off for this section alone; its title then says No downloads.
- Move up and Move down. With a mouse, you can also drag a section by the dots beside its title.
- Delete section…: its photos move to Without a section. No photo is deleted.
Fold sections
Click a section's title to fold it into a strip of a few photos, and again to open it. Collapse all and Expand all do every section at once. Folds are remembered in this browser.
