How do I show a videographer's films in my gallery?
When the videographer delivers the day's films in their own gallery here, add its link to yours: the films play in your gallery's Films tab with their name over them, and stay in their gallery and storage.
Ask the videographer for the link to their gallery of the day, the one they send the couple, and its password if it has one.
Open your gallery on Settings › Films.
Paste the link under Link to their gallery and press Add. A gallery with a password asks for it next.
Your gallery gets a Films tab beside All. Their films play there as films, with “Films by” their brand over them, linked to its website or Instagram.
What shows, and what doesn't
- Every film of their gallery that isn't hidden, in their order, with the names and posters they gave them. Their photos stay in their gallery.
- The films stay in their gallery and their storage: nothing is copied, and they take none of your room.
- They're watched in your gallery, never favourited, chosen or downloaded there: downloads are the videographer's to give, in their own gallery.
- They show while their gallery is published and open. A film they add, rename or hide changes in yours too.
- A gallery shows the films of up to 3 galleries: the videographer's, a second team's.
For the videographer
- Their gallery's Settings › Films gives its link to send you, while no gallery shows its films yet.
- They get an email saying which gallery shows their films.
- Their gallery's Settings › Films lists the galleries that show its films, each with Stop. Stopped, the films leave the other gallery at once, and adding the link again doesn't bring them back until they press Show them again.
Why isn’t it working?
- It says that isn't a gallery's link
- Copy the address from their gallery's page, like heirloomfolio.com/their-studio/the-gallery, or the gallery's address on their own domain. A link to their website, their homepage or their dashboard won't do.
- It says the gallery isn't published yet
- Their gallery is still a draft. Add it once they've published it.
- There's no Films tab
- Their gallery has no films yet, none that aren't hidden, or it has closed. The tab comes as soon as there are films to show.
