How do I keep some sections private?

The link stays open to everyone you send it to; a private section only opens with its PIN, or a code sent to the couple and the people they choose.

  1. On the gallery's Photos tab, open a section's ⋯ menu and choose Make it private. Or tick it under Settings › Access › Private sections.

  2. The first private section gives the gallery a PIN of six digits. Copy it to pass on, type one of your own (six to eight digits), or press New PIN.

  3. Under Emails that open them with a code, the couple's addresses (Couple's emails, above) always do. Add others, one a line, like their parents.

  4. Leave The couple can choose what's private ticked to let the couple tick the sections and add people themselves.

What your clients see

  1. Everyone with the link sees the gallery without the private sections: not their photos, not their names, and none of them in downloads. Private beside the sections opens them.

  2. There they type the PIN, or their email and Send a code: a code of six digits comes to an address on the list, from your studio's name, and works for fifteen minutes on the device that asked.

  3. Once open, the private sections show with a small padlock, and Close them on this device shuts them again, for a shared computer.

  4. The couple, in with a code to their own email, see Only for you under Private: they tick the sections, see the PIN to pass on, add people, and press Save.
